Forever Bare BBL
Forever Bare BBL from Sciton is an innovative new technology in hair removal. Traditionally, hair removal devices use energy on any given area all at once. By sending multiple lower frequency pulses at a high rate of repetition, Forever Bare BBL provides a treatment that is comfortable and safe. BBL technology utilizes the even heating of hair follicles and minimizes mistakes that occur with traditional hair removal methods.
The Forever Bare BBL Difference
In addition to BBL technology, the thermoelectrically cooled sapphire plate on applicator provides continuous cooling to keep the skin comfortable during and after treatment.
Using a 15 x 45 mm spot size with high power and a high repetition rate allows for extremely fast treatment times with no recovery period.
By using energy in short bursts instead of all at once, Forever Bare BBL steadily raises the follicle temperature for hair removal.
Multiple spot size adapters allow the you to treat large and small areas accurately. Smoothing adapters soften the edges of the device to make the treatment more comfortable when using the motion techniques.
Most Skin Types
By gradually increasing the temperature of the follicle and keeping the skin protected with cooling, Forever Bare BBL can effectively treat many different skin types.
How does Forever Bare BBL remove unwanted hair?
Pulsed light shoots photothermal energy at your hair follicles. The rapid, short pulses of light or photothermal energy cause the hair follicle to stop producing hair, but not so much as to damage your skin.
What areas can be treated?
Any area of skin on your body can be treated with this technology. The most common areas people want treated are the face, arms, legs, bikini area, chest, shoulders and back.
How do the Forever Bare BBL treatments feel during the process?
All out treatments are safe and comfortable. Because we use a cooling system, the treatment is applied with minimal discomfort.
How many treatments will I need?
Most areas require at least 6-10 treatments at 4-8-week intervals to get the best results. Long-term results depend on multiple factors such as hair thickness and the hair’s growth cycles. Since not all hairs are in the same growth stage at the same time, multiple repeated treatments are needed.
What happens during the procedure?
A clear gel will be applied to prepare the skin. Then, the BBL energy is delivered with a cooled applicator. During the treatment, some patients feel a warm or tingling sensation in the affected area.
How long does a Forever Bare BBL treatment take?
Treatment time will vary depending upon the size of the area and the thickness of the hair you want removed. Smaller areas only take a few minutes while large areas can take around 15 minutes.
How long will it take to recover?
Forever Bare BBL is a gentle treatment process with virtually no recovery time. In most cases, you can get back to your daily activities immediately.
What happens after the treatment?
Immediately after your treatment, you might experience redness that should go away after hours. A few days after treatment you may experience hair regrowth. Most of these hairs are actually being shed by your body from the Forever Bare BBL treatment and are not going to grow back.
What aftercare will I need?
Minimal aftercare is needed. Keep the treated area clean and use a sunscreen outdoors.
A package of six treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart is recommended for laser hair removal. Please note that some patients may need more than six treatments for optimal results. The results will vary depending on health history and highly dependent on how well each client follows the laser hair removal prep protocol, as well as the after care instructions. Clients interested in successful laser hair removal should also stop tanning, waxing, tweezing, threading and using depilatory creams/gels on the areas to be treated 4 weeks prior to their first laser hair removal treatments and during the entire treatment process (which is usually 6-18 months.) (please know that hair in the treated areas should become less and less noticeable during the course of treatment.) Hair supplements and prescriptions (like biotin or Rogaine) should be discontinued during the treatment process to allow the laser to properly weaken the follicles.
