NEW/EXISTING PATIENT CONSULTATIONS

If you are coming in for a New/Existing Patient Consultation, please allow 2-3 hours for your appointment. We take our time to discuss your goals, come up with a full treatment plan, and explain everything in detail prior to any services being performed.

ADDING TREATMENT TO YOUR EXISTING APPOINTMENT

PLEASE CALL OR TEXT US AT 321-445-1115 TO CHECK IF THERE IS TIME FOR ADDITIONAL TREATMENT.  If you want to add additional treatments to your existing appointment (example: you are coming in for Botox, but you want to also do the MK Pout) then we may either need to schedule for another day, or it may have to be worked into the schedule. Please allow extra time for this if you decide to add more treatment to your existing appointment.

Typically, yes. It does depend on the treatments recommended on your plan, which we will discuss in-office.

Some treatments may have to be scheduled out or can be worked into the schedule.

We ask all new or existing patient consultations to allow 2-3 hours for their first visit

Every patient is unique and many treatments we offer are custom. We will go over all pricing at your consultation.

Please call or text us at 321-445-1115 to discuss general pricing.

Every patient is different. Most Botox/Dysport lasts around 3-4 months. Most hyaluronic acid dermal fillers (like Restylane fillers) typically can last anywhere between 6-12 months. Sculptra is NOT dermal filler.

There are many factors that contribute to how long your filler will last, such as:

  • The type of filler
  • Where it was injected
  • The amount of filler
  • Your lifestyle
  • Your metabolism

What can you do to increase the longevity of your filler?

Follow after-care guidelines

We provide detailed after-care at your appointment to be followed. Immediately after getting fillers, you will be asked not to rub or massage the treated area for the first 24 to 48 hours, as well as avoid vigorous exercise for the first day or so. It can also be helpful to avoid sleeping on your side or stomach for the first day or so after getting fillers, so you don't put unnecessary pressure on the treated area.

Other aftercare instructions that are crucial to follow include limiting exposure to sun and heat and limiting alcohol intake for a few days after your appointment. Closely following all of these guidelines can help to ensure optimal results.

Use the proper skin care routine

While fillers can help to give you a younger look, they work best when paired with the proper skin care routine for your specific skin type and concerns. Following a basic skin care routine with the right cleanser, moisturizer, anti-aging treatment products and sunscreen can go a long way in terms of helping to keep your skin looking youthful and radiant.

We will discuss the best medical skincare products at your appointment.

Practice healthy lifestyle habits

In addition to following the proper anti-aging skin care routine, making healthy lifestyle changes can have a considerable impact on your skin's health and appearance, in turn, helping to prolong your filler results.

These lifestyle factors include things like:

  • Eating a healthy diet and avoiding excess sugar consumption
  • Avoiding stress, which is known to accelerate the aging process
  • Getting enough sleep
  • Drinking enough water
  • Wearing daily sunscreen and avoiding prolonged sun exposure
  • Not smoking or using other tobacco products

It's impossible to say how much filler will be recommended until you are seen for your consultation.

MK Pout

If it is your first time doing the MK Pout, we may recommend a full syringe. 1 full syringe is 1/5 of a TEASPOON (about the size of a small blueberry). Most people end up doing multiple syringes over time.

Everyone is different and has different lips, so the number of syringes recommended varies person to person, although we NEVER inject more than 1 syringe per visit to the lips.

We are frequently asked about lip maintenance, and how often you will have to do your lips. It completely comes down to your preference for how your lips look. Maintaining results looks different person to person, on average most people will come in to maintain their desired look every 6-12 months.

MK Restore/MK Beautification

Everyone must have a full consultation to see if the MK Restore/MK Beautification is the right fit for them. These services use multiple syringes of filler for adding lost volume, facial balancing, and improving existing features. The number of syringes on average for these services can range between 5-15 syringes in one sitting.

We will discuss the number of sessions of each treatment needed when creating your treatment plan. Every treatment is different and requires different sessions to achieve the desired result.

For most lasers or skin treatments, we often recommend "corrective" series of treatments to help you reach your desired goals. Most corrective series are 3-4 appointments but that can vary from person to person.

For filler treatments, we will discuss in office as this will depend on your desired results, your preferences, as well as many lifestyle factors. Typically, most sessions after your initial filler appointment are to maintain results or because you have a preference of how you like things to look.

Sculptra is always done in a initial series of 3 appointments, spaced 6-8 weeks apart. The number of vials will be discussed at your appointment, as that is different for everyone. Sculptra maintenance is recommended once a year.

After finishing your corrective series of any treatment, we will recommend maintenance to keep up your results.

Downtime is different for every treatment and depends greatly on the person.

For most treatments, we have very little downtime. Most treatments here have a downtime of 3-5 days, although it can vary depending on the treatment.

Downtime lengths also depend on your body and its ability to heal itself, your age, your current health, the intensity of the treatment, etc. We will discuss potential downtime at your appointment.

For most laser treatments that require downtime, you can add PRP (platelet-rich plasma) to your service which will aid in recovery time. Ask about adding PRP to your laser treatment for faster healing & better results. Beauty Bank Members typically will receive complimentary PRP with laser packages.

Prepare For Your Appointment

Because post-procedural swelling is to be expected, and can vary depending on which area is being injected, taking these steps prior to your procedure will aid in bringing down the swelling and minimizing possible bruising:

  • Minimize alcohol consumption for a minimum of 24 hours prior to injectable treatment. Alcohol can thin the blood making it easier for bruising to occur. It is best to avoid alcohol for a minimum of 3 days prior to injectable treatment.
  • Avoid certain supplements and medications before the procedure. It is best to avoid any blood thinning agents for at least 1 week prior to injectable treatment to minimize the occurrence of bruising.
  • Stop all NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications) such as aspirin, Advil, Aleve, Nuprin, Bufferin, Ibuprofen, etc. Tylenol is ok to use.
  • Stop all herbal supplements such as fish oil, ginkgo, ginseng, St. John’s Wort, garlic pills, etc. (a multi-vitamin is ok to continue).
  • Always discuss any history of allergies and current medications you are taking with your provider.
  • Start taking oral arnica montana prior to the procedure. Arnica montana is a natural supplement which helps to reduce swelling and bruising. Starting the supplement the day prior to the procedure and continuing after the procedure is recommended.
  • Avoid salty foods a few days before and after the treatment as excess sodium causes the body to retain water, which in turn can worsen swelling.
  • Avoid any depilatory treatments (hair removal, such as tweezing, waxing, etc.) for a minimum of 2 days prior to the treatment.
  • Tell your provider if you are planning any chemical peel treatments or laser treatments as this may cause possible irritation at the treatment site.
  • If you have a history of cold sores, it is important to let your provider know. There is a risk that the treatment could lead to an outbreak, so your provider may want to treat you with Valtrex.
  • Tell your provider if you are on immunosuppressive therapy.
  • Tell your provider if you are pregnant or breastfeeding as the safety profile has not been studied on this group and injectable treatment should not be performed.

  • Avoid tanning or heavy sun exposure and use a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily for four weeks before to treatment.
  • Avoid deep facial peel procedures for four weeks before treatment (for example, strong chemical peels, laser resurfacing, dermabrasion).
  • Don’t use medications that cause photosensitivity (such as doxycycline, minocycline) for at least 72 hours prior to treatment.
  • If you have a history of herpes (oral cold sores, genital) or shingles in the treatment area, let your doctor know and start your antiviral medication (valacyclovir, acyclovir) as directed (usually two days before treatment and continue for three days after treatment).
  • To prepare your skin for laser resurfacing, you may be asked to start a custom skincare regimen 4-6 weeks prior.
  • Please arrive the day of your laser appointment with no makeup, if possible.

Aftercare

Botox®, Dysport® After Care Instructions

• Full results are seen at 14 days.
• Please be aware that some, though very few patients, experience a mild headache. You may take Tylenol to help with this for pain relief.
• Be assured that tiny bumps or marks will go away within a few hours to days after your treatment.
• You may be bruised, red or feel some swelling. No ice is needed but can be used with gentle pressure on the area.
• If bruising occurs, do not worry since it will only be temporary and can easily be covered up with makeup.
• Wait at least 1 hour after procedure before applying makeup.
• Do NOT have a facial, nor rub or massage the treated area for 24 hours after your treatment.
• Limit exercise for 24 hours; if your masseter muscles were injected you must limit your exercise for 48 hours.
• Do NOT lie down for 4 hours after treatment.
• If your masseter muscles were injected you must also NOT look down, press on, bend over or reach for low items (i.e. going into the refrigerator, picking up something you dropped, etc.) for 4 hours after treatment.
• Avoid any exposure to a sauna, hot tub or tanning for 24 hours.
• Try to exercise your treated muscles for the first hour after treatment (e.g. practice frowning, raising your eyebrows or squinting). This may help work the tox into your muscles quicker. Although this may help your procedure outcome, it will NOT impact your treatment negatively if you forget to do this.
• If you have a wrinkle at rest (without movement), you may need to resurface the skin to further lessen this line. We must treat deep wrinkles as “scars” on the skin.
• We recommend not waiting till you have full movement to come back. We recommend you come in every 3 months for another treatment.
• Oral zinc a few days after tox may be recommended.
• Duration of tox is dependent on the amount of tox that was used, how expressive you are and your body metabolism (we do not mean your food metabolism, this is different).
• In general, if you get sick (virus), have an infection (UTI), or have lots of stress you may notice your tox wearing off quicker.
Skincare products that pair well with this treatment include: Elta MD- Physical (daily) & Pure (when being active outdoors), TNS Advanced+ Serum (if acne prone use instant pore refiner and complexion pads instead of TNS), ZO Firming Serum and ZO Gentle Cleanser

Filler Aftercare Instructions

  • Immediately after the treatment, there may be redness, bruising, swelling, tenderness, and/or itching near the injection site. Avoid itching, massaging, or picking around the injection site. This is normal and generally disappears within 7-10 days.
  • No makeup same day as the treatment.
  • Do not ice the area unless instructed to do so.
  • You may take acetaminophen (Tylenol) to reduce any pain, as necessary.
  • Your filler may feel hard or lumpy, do not worry or touch this area. If after 1 week you have a lump, you can gently massage the area to assist with filler-tissue integration.
  • Asymmetrical swelling is normal.

Within 48 hours:

  • Avoid drinking alcohol or partaking in strenuous exercise, as it may result in additional bruising or infection.
  • Until the swelling and redness have resolved, avoid intense heat in the treated area(s). This includes sunbathing, tanning, saunas, hot tubs, or hot wax. Also avoid extreme cold such as skiing or other winter sports.
  • If you have excessive bruising, please call the office, and send us a photo to see if there’s anything we can do to assist you. Bruising is completely normal, and, in some cases, we may be able to use our lasers to help break up a bruise. If bruising TRAVELS to an area other than the area treated contact the office immediately.
  • Minimize movement of the treated area(s). However, if there is a visible bump, you can massage the area after 1 week. Depending on the areas treated and the product used, you may feel "firmness". These areas will soften and settle with time (usually 2-6 weeks)
  • Sunscreen and makeup can be applied the next day, and the area can be gently washed with a gentle cleanser.
  • No dental procedures 2 weeks after fillers.

Radiesse Dermal Filler Aftercare Instructions

What can I expect after treatment?

Immediately following a treatment session with RADIESSE dermal filler redness, bruising or swelling may

occur in the treatment area. These signs usually go away in a short period and are generally mild in nature.

For approximately 24 hours after treatment:

  • Avoid significant movement or massage of the treated area.
  • Do not apply makeup.
  • Avoid extensive sun or heat exposure.

After you leave the office, you may experience redness, bruising or swelling for a few days. Not all patients

experience these, but please note that such effects can occur and are not out of the ordinary for such a

treatment. You may be able to feel the area where RADIESSE dermal filler was injected for some period

after injection. Over time, the injected area will feel more and more like your own tissue.

How quickly can I get back to my daily activities?

Most patients feel comfortable going back to their normal activities immediately after treatment with

What other things do I need to know?

The Microspheres in RADIESSE dermal filler can be seen in X-rays and CT Scans. It is very important that

you inform your doctor and other health care professionals that you have RADIESSE dermal filler injected

in your face. Even though RADIESSE dermal filler can be seen in X-rays and CT Scans, there is not a high

risk that it would cause your doctor concern, as long as s/he knows that you have had RADIESSE dermal

filler injected in your face.

TIXEL AFTERCARE

Do NOT wash OR put anything on your skin the same day as the treatment.

  • Expect the skin to feel red and hot, like a sunburn. The intensity of the heat settles after a few hours. If intense swelling occurs take an antihistamine.

  • DO NOT use a cold compress or ice pack as this can make the redness worse or can cause infection.

  • MORNING AFTER: Wash the skin with lukewarm water twice a day with gentle cleanser and pat dry with a soft, clean cloth. Apply a physical sunscreen to the skin. Day 3 and Day 4 you can apply a thin layer of moisturizer and use the cotton mask for 15-20 minutes.

  • Use a new pillowcase. You may apply a clean mineral makeup after 48 hours. Do not use old makeup and use fresh make up brushes and sponges.

  • Do not pick or rub the area as this will increase infection risk. CONTACT us immediately at 321-445-1115 if you have any signs of infection.

  • Avoid heating the skin (hot showers, saunas, direct sunlight). Avoid exposure to the treated area for 14 days such as spray tans, hair dye, chlorine, and tattoos.

  • Once your skin is healed you can return to your normal skin care regime. It is normal to have dryness and scabs and texture irregularities for a few days.

The Total Skin Solution Aftercare

  • DO NOT wash your face the day of the procedure. The morning after please wash with lukewarm water and a gentle cleanser, pat dry with a clean cloth twice daily and apply a physical sunscreen. You may apply a gentle and thin moisturizer as needed.

  • Mild crusting might be noted 1-10 days following treatment. Crusts will disappear naturally in several days. DO NOT pick at the crusts. Soaking skin in the shower for 10-15 minutes and rubbing very gently with a washcloth can help with sloughing. Dark spots on the skin may get darker for a few days and then fall off.

  • Avoid harsh topical products or alcohol-based toners for two weeks. Otherwise, after 24 hours, patients can resume their normal skin care regimen or as directed by provider.

  • Avoid vigorous activity, excessive heat, or sun exposure for at least 1 week.

  • Avoid direct sun exposure until the skin heals, when outdoors always use an umbrella, hat or other available protection against sunlight.

Common expected skin reactions include redness, swelling, pin-point bleeding and possibly slight discomfort after treatment. It is possible to have acne post procedure, you may apply peroxide mixed with water to the pimple. If your prone to acne and have more than a few pimples, please call the office so we can assist you.

It is not unusual for the skin to be irritated or have a slight burning sensation, you may use an ice pack to help with the warmth. This typically subsides in a few hours to 1 day but may get aggravated with heat or sweating.  If you are concerned about infection, please give us a call (321)445-1115.

Aftercare Instructions
To reduce the risk of unwanted side effects, it is imperative that these Aftercare Instructions are followed implicitly.
1. Optimal results are only achieved by maintaining an undisturbed and DRY environment.
2. DO NOT over cool. Cooling stops the tightening effect and could damage the tissue.
3. Immediately after the treatment the skin was treated with the Suvnoii Aftercare Cream and the Subnovii Downtime Reducer Powder.
Subnovii Aftercare Creme must be used for several days to ensure optimal healing and results.
(DO NOT use Bepanthenol/Bepanthen or anything similar - it is too fatty and prevents healing)
4. Each morning and evening (while the scabs are present) apply a VERY THIN layer of the Subnovii Aftercare Cream. Pat the cream on with clean fingers and do NOT rub in or use a sponge.
Repeat this process if you feel that the skin requires moisturising during the course of the day and again in the evening.
Subnovii Downtime Reducer Powder should be used on top of the cream to absorb any excess moisture and keep the scabs dry.
5. To treat temporary pain, 500mg Paracetamol may be taken. Aspirin MUST NOT be taken, as this can cause more swelling. DO NOT take Ibuprofen or any other anti-inflammatory medication.
6. ‘Arnica 6c’ pillules can be used to treat swelling. 5 pillules to be taken every hour if necessary until the swelling subsides.
7. As long as the scabs are present avoid the sun, sweating, sauna and steam rooms.
8. DO NOT intentionally remove the scabs. Every manipulation of the scabs can cause and adverse effect. They will fall off on their own within 3 to 7 days. This may take longer for smokers or those taking medication.
9. While the scabs are present they should be kept dry. Should the scabs become wet, do not rub. Use a hairdryer on the area until the crusts are dry. Apply Subnovii Aftercare Cream and Subnovii Downtime Reducer Powder directly afterwards.
10. The skin beneath the scabs is sensitive. The pinkish coloration may last up to 6 months.
11. When the scabs have fallen off, use a sunscreen with SPF 50 on the treated areas. Avoid extreme sun exposure for 3 months and UV rays and extreme low temperatures for 2 weeks. If the above instructions are not followed, pigment deviations and dark spots may occur.
12. Please note: depending on the desired results, more than one treatment may be necessary. Follow-up treatments may only be performed 12 - 16 weeks after the previous treatment as the collagen fibres are still contracting and the skin is very sensitive.

ProFractionalAftercare Instructions

Redness, swelling and pinpoint bleeding are normal. You MUST avoid the sun and apply a barrier ointment to the treated areas until the skin is healed. Tips: sleep more elevated, use clean pillowcases, towels and don’t touch your face the day of treatment.

  • Redness can last several days.
  • Swelling is typically a short-term response and worse in the mornings. Use of a clean cold compress can help to relieve the swelling.
  • If a medication was prescribed take as directed.
  • While not commonly needed, post treatment discomfort may be relieved by oral pain relievers, i.e. Extra Strength Tylenol.
  • MORNING AFTER TREATMENT: Cleanse the skin two times a day with plain, lukewarm water and a gentle cleanser, i.e. Cetaphil, beginning the morning after the treatment. Use your hands to gently apply the cleanser and water and finish by patting dry with a soft clean cloth.  Be careful not to rub the treated area.
  • AFTER cleansing your face and patting day, reapply the occlusive barrier to the treated areas (Aquaphor works well). Typically, the occlusive barrier is only needed for the first 4-5 days. Reapply the occlusive barrier as needed.  Do not allow the treated area to dry out.
  • Peeling and flaking generally occur within 24 hours post treatment and should be allowed to come off naturally. DO NOT PICK, RUB, OR FORCE OFF ANY SKIN DURING THE HEALING PROCESS, THIS COULD RESULT IN SCARRING AND INFECTION!  Gently washing the skin more frequently will help to promote the peeling process.
  • Avoid direct sunlight for up to 2 months post treatment.
  • MAKEUP: Once skin has healed (no longer wearing the occlusive barrier) you may begin to wear makeup. A physical sunblock should be worn to help prevent any hyperpigmentation that could be caused by direct and indirect sunlight.
  • When showering, be sure to wash your hair behind you to avoid getting shampoo directly on the treated area for the first 48 hours.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise and sweating until after skin has healed.

There will be swelling immediately post treatment and for a few days; however, if you have excessive swelling or any of the following signs of infection, you should CONTACT the office immediately 321-445-1115. We EXPECT MORE swelling around the eyes.

Signs of infection: Drainage, pus, crusting, blisters or broken skin, warmth of the skin, fevers, chills, or any other signs of infection.

Skincare products that pair well with profractional:  Elta MD- Moisturizer, Physical (daily) & Pure (when being active outdoors) and ZO Gentle Cleanser.

HALO Aftercare

What to expect after treatment:
§ Redness is normal and expected. Redness generally increases in intensity the first few days after treatment
with day 3 being most intense. Redness can persist for up to 7-10 days depending on the aggressiveness of
the treatment.
§ Pinpoint bleeding may occur. This can last for up to 12 hours depending on the treatment depth and may be
isolated to certain treated areas.
§ Immediately after treatment, swelling is common and expected. Use of a cold compress or ice packs will
help to relieve the swelling. To avoid further swelling, you may choose to sleep in an upright position the
first night after the treatment. The first morning post treatment is when swelling is more prevalent, especially
under the eyes. Swelling may last 2-4 days depending on the aggressiveness of the treatment.
§ The treated area may be extremely warm for 12-24 hours after the treatment. Cold compresses or ice packs
may provide comfort during this time.
§ On the 2nd or 3rd day after treatment, you will increasingly notice tiny dark spots and bronzed appearance to
the treated skin. This is called the MENDS (microscopic epidermal necrotic debris). In individuals with
heavily pigmented skin, or in areas where sun damage has produced pigmented lesions, the microscopic
wounds, known as MENDS, contain large amounts of melanin. Because there are so many MENDS, they
can make the skin look bronzed and small areas appear crusted (do not try to scratch them off). This is part
of the healing process where treated tissue is working its way out of your body as new fresh skin is
regenerated. During this time, your skin will be very dry and have a sandpaper texture and will begin to flake
and peel. If the face is treated, it could take 5-7 days for the peeling process to be completed. If the neck,
chest or anywhere on the body was treated, this process could take up to 2 weeks.
§ After the peeling process is complete, your skin will have a rosy, pink glow that will gradually resolve.
§ Post treatment discomfort may be relieved by over the counter oral pain relievers; i.e. Extra Strength
Tylenol.
§ Itching may be experienced during the healing phase and is completely normal. Oral Benadryl may help
itching but can cause drowsiness. DO NOT scratch the treated area as scarring and pigmentation
complications can occur.
§ After skin is healed, your skin will continue to build new collagen for up to 2-3 months. It is important to be
on a skin care regime to maintain healthy skin and optimal results. Your treatment provided will discuss this
with you.

Post Care
• All products mentioned in these instructions will be provided to you in your post treatment kit.
• You may shower the day following your treatment. When showering in the next few days, please be sure to
avoid getting shampoo directly on the treated area. You may consider taking a shower with the back of your
head to the water to avoid directly hitting your face with a full force stream of water. Alternatively, you may
wish to have baths instead.
• Beginning the morning after your treatment, cleanse the skin with plain, lukewarm water and Cetaphil.
Ensure you wash your hands well before touching your face. Use your hands to gently apply the cleanser
and water and finish by patting dry with a clean soft cloth. DO NOT rub, scrub, use an exfoliant or a skin
care brush e.g. Clarisonic in the treated area. Doing so could result in scarring and pigmentation
complications. You will cleanse your skin with Cetaphil twice a day, once in the morning and once in the
evening.
• Peeling and flaking generally occur within 24 hours post treatment and should be allowed to come off
naturally. Peeling can continue for 3-5 days post treatment. DO NOT PICK, RUB, OR FORCE OFF ANY
SKIN DURING THE HEALING PROCESS, THIS COULD RESULT IN SCARRING, PIGMENTATION
COMPLICATIONS AND INFECTION! Gently washing the skin more frequently will help to promote the
peeling process.
• Sunscreen is a MUST and should be used daily beginning the day after treatment and used vigilantly for up
to 3 months post procedure. Use recommended mineral sunscreen with broadband protection (UVA and
UVB) and a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 30. Do not use a chemical sunscreen. The SPF provided
in your post treatment kit is ideal and what we recommend for daily use (Physical Fusion by SkinCeuticals
SPF 50). Apply sunscreen 20 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours. If direct sun
exposure is necessary, wear a hat and clothing that covers the treated area. If treated area is exposed to
sun (direct or indirect) blistering, scarring, hyperpigmentation or hypo-pigmentation can / will occur. Sun
exposure should be avoided for 2 months post treatment.
• 2 days after your treatment, you are safe to use medically approved makeup if you really feel the need to. If possible, please wait until after the peeling process to apply
makeup (5-7 days post treatment). Please ensure any makeup brushes you use are properly cleansed.
• Avoid strenuous activity and sweating until skin has healed (5-7 days).
• Ensure your hair is kept back and out of your face at all times during the healing process.
• Continue to avoid skin irritants (ie. Retinol, Retin-A, Tretinoin, Vitamin A, Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid, AHAs,
LHAs, and Benzoyl Peroxide) for one month after your treatment.
• For men – do not shave the treated area for 5 days after the treatment.
• Once your skin is completely healed (around 7 days), you may return to your normal skin care regime (except for the use of any exfoliants for 1 month). Should you require
a recommendation for a daily moisturizer, please let us know and we can assist you.

Warning
There may be some degree of swelling immediately post treatment; however, if you have excessive swelling or any of
the following signs of infection, you should contact the office immediately. Signs of infection include:
• Drainage – looks like pus
• Increased warmth at or around the treated area
• Fever of 101.5 or greater
• Extreme itching

DiamondGlow® Aftercare Instructions

After your DiamondGlow® treatment, please refrain from using retinoids and other acids for three days. Please make sure to use medical grade sun protection with an SPF of 30+ daily and reapply every 2 hours. This will insure the best result possible. Also, we recommend not waxing the treated area for 5 days after your treatment date. Some patients may be slightly red or pink for a few days.

Q: How long do results last?

A: Regardless of condition being treated (hyperpigmentation, acne, stretch marks), all skin

treated with DiamondGlow is 70% more volumized for up to 72 hours following the procedure.

This means skin is smoothed, plumped, hydrated, and healthy.

Q: How many DiamondGlow treatments are required to see results?

A: We recommend a series of 4 - 6 treatments for the best results. However, one treatment can refresh the skin and help your skin care products work better.

Q: How often do I need to get DiamondGlow treatment?

A: For most clients, treatments are scheduled every other week. Every month is still great for your skin and for maintaining your results.

Q: What is the difference between DiamondGlow and microdermabrasion?

A: While both DiamondGlow and microdermabrasion remove a portion of the upper layer of the skin, or the stratum corneum, the DiamondGlow treatment is much more controlled and consistent in the way it operates. That is because, rather than blasting particles at skin (as with older microdermabrasion devices), or pushing an abrasive tip across the skin by hand, DiamondGlow uses the controlled vacuum pressure to pull the skin up into a chamber in the hand piece, where it is evenly abraded just as aggressively or as softly as the vacuum pressure is set by the skincare professional. This is significant, because all other devices rely on the operator to apply the same pressure, at the same speed, consistently over the skin. the same treatment.

The process of controlled exfoliation, or microdermabrasion is where the comparisons stop. However, it is just the beginning of the actual DiamondGlow treatment one receives during the procedure. With a DiamondGlow treatment, that same controlled vacuum pressure that is used to pull the skin into the chamber, allowing the diamond abrasive tip to very consistently remove the stratum corneum, is also driving a condition-specific topical solution deep into the skin, right down to the dermal junction where the skin cells are regenerating. This solution is customized for your skin type every time you receive a DiamondGlow.
